The United States used to be respected. Back in the 90s, America was seen as the pinnacle of modern civilization. For many people living in the developing world, the purpose of life was to one day catch a brief glimpse of the American way of life before the twilight of their years.
At the beginning of 2026, America has shown the world that the ideals and values that once stood as the pillars of this country are nothing more than lazy fascism. At some point in its short history, America lost itself and became what it hated most, an imperial power willing and able to destroy anyone who challenges its authority.
