Residents of Oklahoma are calling for the immediate deportation of Sen. Markwayne Mullin through a Change petition, stating that Mullin is not a real Oklahoman, a real cowboy, or even a real American.
The petition states the people of Oklahoma no longer recognize Mullin as a legitimate representative of the state due to his nefarious business history, embarrassing public statements, and potential homoerotic relationship with President Donald Trump.
“He can’t spell. He can’t form coherent sentences,” said Maria Thompson of Broken Arrow. “I would rather have an immigrant who doesn’t speak English representing Oklahoma than someone who humiliates us every time he talks.”
“I’m not saying he is a Russian spy, but I’ve never seen a real cowboy behave the way he does,” said Caleb Morris of Lawton. “No one is that cowardly and that eager to kiss ass at the same time. At some point you start wondering who he’s really working for, because it sure doesn’t look like Oklahoma.”
“We don’t really care if he’s from Russia or not,” said Jordan Ellis, who organized the petition. “People are getting deported every day for no reason at all. Why not him. He took PPP money, never paid it back, and embarrasses this state every time he opens his mouth. At this point, we just want him gone.”
Ellis said his organization is already discussing a similar effort aimed at Ryan Walters if this campaign succeeds. The Oklahoma Gaslight will keep you updated.
