Oklahoma Student Fails Biology Class After Citing “Dragon Tales” as Scientific Evidence

Share

Bailey Mullin is a biology student at a college in Oklahoma. Even though she is only a junior, Bailey believes she has a clear understanding of what life should be, all thanks to the TV show “Dragon Tales,” which she says inspired her to pursue a degree in science. Bailey grew up believing dragons are real, sentient, talking beings that anyone can reach if they simply believe hard enough. Bailey claims she learned everything she knows about family, society and morality from Dragon Tales, and she believes anyone who disagrees is probably demonic.

Despite her extensive knowledge of Dragon Tales, Bailey quickly realized her peers and professors do not accept the show as a legitimate source of information or acknowledge it as real. When Bailey was given an assignment to write an essay on her perspective of a peer reviewed article about myth and legends in modern science, she received a failing grade after paraphrasing Dragon Tales and presenting it as real evidence of mythological creatures being real. Most people eventually accept that reality is often different from what they believed in childhood. Bailey is not one of them.

Dragon Tales USA is an organization that recently opened a chapter at the school with the goal of protecting and encouraging students who reject the idea of traditional academia and scientific progress. They have offered full and unconditional support to Bailey in what they call her fight against censorship.

“Thinkers like Bailey should be protected at all costs. Dragon Tales was a real thing and it is obvious that anyone who says otherwise is being bought by the radical left media. Bailey is simply exercising her freedom of speech,” said Will Brimer, a Dragon Tales advocate.

Despite the ongoing controversy, Dragon Tales USA is raising funds to publish Bailey’s essay on billboards along major highways in Oklahoma. We will keep you informed of further developments.
