Gov. Kevin Stitt to Play Pocahontas’ Dad in New Disney Live-Action Movie

On Feb. 3, Disney executives announced they are ready to start working on the production of a new live action Pocahontas movie as soon as Gov. Kevin Stitt leaves office, saying they have never seen a more perfect match for a role than him.

“I have never seen a man more fitting for the role. We had completely abandoned hope of ever making a live action adaptation until I saw Stitt,” a Disney producer said.

Executives stated the movie was impossible to launch until now since they were unable to identify anyone with the traits and physical characteristics proper of a traditional Native American man until they stumbled upon Gov. Kevin Stitt’s State of the State speech a few days ago, where he proudly said he was an Indian named Stitt.

Producers said this new adaptation will be less focused on Pocahontas and will instead center the plot on Pocahontas’ dad, played by Stitt, as he navigates the struggles and day to day challenges of being a tribal leader.

“We are just waiting for him to leave office and hopefully never come back so he can focus on his new role. We are currently in conversations with Steven Seagal to relaunch all of his movies starring the new Indian man of the moment, Kevin Stitt.”

The Oklahoma Gaslight is ecstatic about this new production coming to Oklahoma and hopes it will be as good and impactful as Melania. We will keep you updated.
